Health Issues Take Care Of
Our God is so good. As we have been working to get things together
for our trip to Argentina, I have been getting all health issues taken care of. In doing so, on a well check up, my doctor found that my white blood cells were low. After two test to check this I was sent to a hematologist to make sure there was not a serious problem. I was told it could be caused by my medicine, and infection or that it could be a more serious problem. I was to see the Hematologist on June 8, but a call came in Monday morning and my appointment was changed to that afternoon, May 17. The hematologist that I saw could find no other problems other than my white blood cell count was low. He sent me for another test, this one to be done in his office. He said if my cell count was still low or had gone lower I would need a bone marrow test to try and find the cause. I had, had prayer for this on Sunday and had sent out a prayer request to those I knew to be prayer warriors asking that all come back normal and there would be no need for a bone marrow test. Praise the Lord because I received a call telling me on Tuesday that my white blood cell count was normal, even my platelets were higher and to come back for another test on June 17. Then on May 18, I had an appointment with my dermatologist because of a rash. He tells me that the rash is an infection caused by some medication that I have or am taking. So it seems that the Lord not only raised my white blood count but also has shown me the cause for my white blood count being low. Praise the Lord! I will now go back to my hematologist with this information and see how to find out what if any medicine I take or have taken is the cause of the infection and cause of my white blood cells being low. I want to thank each of you for your prayers and ask that everyone give thanks to our Father and God for His goodness and mercy. He truly is worthy to be praised, no matter how things might look in our eyes. We truly are blessed and highly favored, and it is all to His glory!! Linda Gheen
