To Live with Faith

  Hey Squyres! 

I just wanted to tell you that ever since we were talking about specific faith and not just being like "ohh yeah. that person prays for people and it works for them. but if iiiii prayed for people what good would that do?" like as far as healing or anything..I've been trying to live with faith and praying for people. 

Over Spring Break Hannah Shope was over and had a sharp pain in her chest and so I prayed for her and then we went for a walk & the pain was gone when we were done (:

What i really wanted to tell you though is that last night my mom had a really bad headache. (She's had chronic migraines since I was in 1st grade) She was laying on the couch watching tv with my sister and I came into the room and just felt like I should pray for her. I don't usually think about or pray for her head because i'm just so used to it. It's "oh okay my mom has another headache" but I felt like i needed to go sit on the couch & pray for her. 

Soo I sat down and said i wanted to pray for her head and asked if she thought God could heal her headache. She said yes and so I laid my hands on her head and said this totally horribly butchered..silly but serious prayer. (not what you'd call a "good' prayer) and my sister was laughing at me while i prayed because it didn't sound so great. ANYWAYS my mom told me today that she didn't do anything to make the headache go away or have to take her medicine because it went away!! I was so excited because her headaches usually last longer than one day! I know if it wouldn't have gone away if I didn't pray for her! & that whole thing isn't something I would do with my mom..it was a little awkward to do it...but it was great! and it worked!! (:
