Hi!, Welcome to River Life Kids!! River Life Kid's Ministry aims to minister to the youngest members of the kingdom in a safe, clean and happy environment where they can be touched by the Holy Spirit and are given the chance to experience the Lord through foundational Bible teaching, worship, prayer, prophecy and fun!
I have had an urgency in the Spirit as of late in regards to the children NOT being conformed to this world. ~ Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." I see the world tugging on many! My prayer and focus right now is that the children would taste and see that the Lord is Good and would have the tools they need to fight against the enemy and his sneaky attacks! They need more FIRE! and they need a close relationship with the Lord if they agree going to survive in this darkening world that we live in.
"...Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the Kingdom of God."
~ Luke 18 "Double Dot" 16 ... I really think Jesus meant this when He said it! :-)
Children growing up in today's world are in a battle. They need real power to stand in this battle. They need a relationship with Jesus Christ they can call thier own (not just thier parents religion!) and they NEED the power of the Holy Spirit living in and flowing through thier lives! Oh come Holy Spirit and invade our children! Let us not hold them back. Amen! ~ Pastor Tony
Some food for thought. Here is how "The Message" version of the Bible translates Romans 12:1,2
"So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life, your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life, and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."
