Kristen Tiessen

Kristen Tiessen relocated from California's Central Coast to North Carolina in March 2022. She began attending RiverLife in June of that year and took on the role of Church Administrator in 2023.

Prior to this, Kristen served as Executive Assistant to the directors of the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center in Santa Maria, CA, for 3.5 years. During her time there, she developed a passion for worship and the Word, while witnessing the transformative power of prayer.

Outside of her church duties, Kristen works as a freelance writer, focusing on topics such as people, places, food, culture, and the arts. She also enjoys crocheting, knitting, and baking. Kristen cherishes spending time with family and friends on Lake Norman.

Kristen resides in Mooresville with her husband Christian, their son Ezra, and their two dogs, Buddy and Bailey.
